About the Founder
Davonta J. Hughes – Financial Architect | Intercessor | Legacy Builder
Who is Davonta J. Hughes?
Davonta Jalon Hughes is a proud native of San Antonio, Texas, and a first-generation college graduate. With an associate degree in Business Administration from Mississippi Delta Community College and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Delta State University, Davonta has combined his academic foundation with faith-based leadership to create a unique mission.
He is the visionary behind Empower2Live Financial Solutions and The M.I.T. Project (Millionaire in Training), initiatives committed to helping individuals and families break financial strongholds and build generational legacies.
Rooted in Purpose
Raised in a single-parent household with six siblings, Davonta's life was not shaped by a financial blueprint but rather by love, prayer, and vision. Without traditional resources, he leaned on faith and perseverance to carve a new path, one rooted in biblical principles, community, and strategic planning.
His greatest inspiration? His mother, whose strength and sacrifice laid the foundation for his mission.
Mission Statement
“Don’t just build income. Build infrastructure for the next generation.”
Davonta is more than a financial expert. He is a Kingdom-minded CFO, an intercessor, and a community architect who believes that true financial empowerment comes from aligning faith with financial literacy.
Faith Meets Finance
As a prayer warrior and strategist, Davonta bridges the gap between spiritual leadership and financial discipline. He teaches individuals how to:
Manage money God’s way
Build wealth with integrity and purpose
Prepare for legacy through wise stewardship
To Davonta, financial literacy is spiritual warfare, and tools like ownership, vision, and intercession are God's way of rewriting generational stories.
